Originally from Chihuahua Mexico, Beatriz worked as a Physical Education teacher, business woman and volunteer working with troubled youth to keep them off the streets. She is a member of LA Voice in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she volunteers many hours a week organizing and helping those in need. She is always open to assisting people who have lost their home, their jobs by connecting them with resources. For the last two years, she was a volunteer assisting residents to pass the naturalization exam to become US Citizen by offering lessons in Spanish and English.
