2020 continues its barrage of bad news. As Christmas approaches, we look for joy at every turn. Our joy is found in life itself! This year, we join our voices with those of our family and friends and neighbors. Together we share our joy with the world!

Joy to the World! The Lord is come!

Let heaven and nature sing!

Joy breaks through the darkness of a global pandemic and a divided nation. Joy breaks through worry and stress and exhaustion. Joy even breaks through illness and brokenness. The Lord comes at Christmas, and every day, into our hearts to bring us the joy of life.

All around, the created world is singing praise to the Lord for his gifts and his mercy! All heaven resounds with the joyful sound! We sing, too, when we share kindness with people in need and within our own families and neighborhoods. Sing with joy as you care for your children, deliver cookies to a neighbor, or bring blankets to a local shelter.
